Meet Our Staff

Miss Kaylee Yanosky - Primary class co-teacher, ages 3 to 6. Miss Kaylee joined our staff in August 2021. She completed her Montessori training and obtained her certification in June 2023.
In addition to teaching, she works at her family's restaurant, GHP, in Uniontown and enjoys babysitting on weekends. Her heart definitely gravitates toward teaching children. In her narrow window of small time, she enjoys traveling to new places, eating new foods, and going out with her friends.

Mrs. Layla Costain - Elementary teacher. Mrs. Costain was born and raised in Southeast Texas and moved to Pennsylvania in 2011. She is married with 5 children and they LOVE animals. She currently has a German Shepherd named Zoey; two cats named Cookie and Opal; a hamster named Bubbles; and two Leopard Geckos named Darth Liz and Ziggy.
She joined our school in July 2022 as our Elementary teacher. Already having a bachelor's degree, she returned to school to study Montessori Elementary Education and received her certification in April 2023. She loves that her students always come to school so eager to learn and have fun.
Her favorite lessons to teach are the First Great Lesson and Checkerboard.

Mrs. Taylor Howrylak - Director and Lead Teacher of our Primary classroom, ages 3 to 6. Mrs. Howrylak began her Montessori journey right here at AG Montessori School in June 2013 as a classroom assistant. She quickly fell in love with the Montessori approach and wanted to further her education to be the best teacher she could be. Already having an Elementary Education degree, she worked to obtain her Montessori teaching certification, completing her training in March 2017. She then became the Directress of the school in August 2020.
Mrs. Howrylak is married with three children of her own. She has a dog named Grace and three ferrets named Bonnie, Oscar, and Artemus. The ferrets can often be found visiting the children at our school.
Her favorite lessons to teach are the stamp game and the land/water forms.

Miss Tiffany Thomas - Primary class co-teacher, ages 3 to 6. Miss Tiffany joined our staff in August 2018 as a classroom assistant. Not knowing much about Montessori, she quickly fell in love with the classroom atmosphere and the Montessori method. The quiet and peaceful environment fit perfectly with her personality. She completed her Montessori training and received her certification in 2022.
When she is not teaching, she enjoys spending her time at the barn with her horse, Kid, who visits the children often. Sometimes you might even find her riding around in Hopwood. Her other hobbies include reading, camping, fishing and riding side-by-sides with her fiancé.
Her favorite lessons to teach are the large moveable alphabet and the snake game.
